Est 2013…

Ward Smith started in 2013. Vic had declined a training contract to become a corporate lawyer, and was at the very start of trying to move into a career in music. Meanwhile, Charlie had graduated from a music production degree. After meeting through a mutual friend, we found we shared a love of acoustic music. We began performing and recording, doing all we could to promote the band. Gradually word of mouth spread, and today Ward Smith is a passion project, allowing us both to work as full time musicians.

We’re passionate about acoustic music and its ability to bring something truly unique to events. Whether your event is small and intimate or reverberating with excitement, we’d love to come celebrate with you.

During our journey we’ve performed for HRH The Prince of Wales, The Ritz, Harrods, Claridges, Microsoft, Paypal and Henley Royal Regatta as well as for hundreds of private clients.

Booking starts by contacting us for a quote. Bookings are confirmed by a deposit and signing our booking form.

We supply music via iPad/PA between our performances.

Performance lengths are tailored to the event your booking for. We offer various packages.

2. Once you’ve confirmed you’d like to book we’ll send you a booking contract.

3. Sign the booking form online and pay your deposit via bank transfer.

4. We’ll contact you a month before the event to get more detailed info.

5. We’ll arrive in good time before your event to set up our equipment and get ready to perform for you.
